JWU Email & Student Contact

Your JWU email account is the primary form of communication for the university. Students are responsible for regularly checking their JWU email, but also for keeping their phone numbers and mailing addresses updated with the university, which can be done in jwuLink.

Communications & Student Expectations

Drugs & Alcohol

JWU prohibits the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession or use of narcotics, drugs and other controlled substances.

Unlawful for these purposes means in violation of federal, state or local statutes, regulations or ordinances. Possession or use of illegal drugs, narcotics or drug paraphernalia is absolutely forbidden.

Drug & Alcohol Policy

Sanctions

Sanctions for violations of the Drug & Alcohol Policy may include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Conduct Warning, Conduct Probation, Suspension, or Dismissal 
  • On-Line education and/or assessment courses
  • Educational Sanctions and/or Community Service
  • Fines/Fees
  • Notice letter to the student's parents or guaridians if the student is under the age of 21 
  • Selling or providing drugs to anyone, even on the first offense, may result in permanent dismissal.
